Nils and Ronny have made themselves a name through
their extensive and challenging travels. They have done 0-gravity
training over Moscow with Mr. Tito the first billionaire in space,
encountered Ian Smith in Zimbabwe and lunched with Imelda Marcos
in Manila. And this time, in “Don’t fuck with the Lewises”,
they end up getting shot at in Louisiana…
NILS & RONNY AS THE COMPANY
Nils & Ronny as is a production-company that despite its rather
hopeless name…?, has an exciting and varied track record in
producing documentaries and television-series.
RONNY KRISTOFFERSEN THE DIRECTOR
Ronny Kristoffersen, has background as producer/photographer
for foreign correspondents in the Asia region. Since moving back
to Norway after several years abroad, he has made a number of documentaries
focusing on social issues.
His films have contributed to bring the conditions of refugees,
young homosexuals and drug addicts into the public focus. He has
been nominated for the prestigious film award Amanda (The Annual
Norwegian Film Award) once and the TV-award Gullruten (The Annual
Norwegian Television Award) eight times.
He has a combination of strong artistic vision and a firm understanding
of his audience.
He is also well known for the Norwegian audience through the television-series
"Walkabout", a series of on-the-road-documentaries from
all over the world, with companion and producer Nils Henrik Wærstad.
NILS HENRIK WÆRSTAD THE CO-DIRECTOR/PRODUCER
Nils Henrik Wærstad, is an independent producer with background
as television-photographer. He has produced and co-directed most
of Kristoffersen's documentary films and TV-series, and is also
his companion in front of the camera in their critic-acclaimed television
series "Walkabout".
